what kind of vehicle should i buy?
i am horribly indecisive, so i hope you all can help me decide. first it must pull a old 15-30 foot travel trailer but only rarely. a budget under 1k, i want to occasionally take transport stuff like a fridge / 2×4’s / plywood / but am not affraid to put on roof (maybe a car with a small trailer for that?). i would also really like it to be fuel efficient so i can do long distance trips sometimes. .. um, oh maybe i should get 2? one big one , one little? or would that be worse for maintinence and insurance? (live in bc) isnt it true the worst thing to do is just let it sit?….
well there is my paradox, any ideas would be welcome 
With a budget of less than $1000 – you are asking a lot. But …
Try 2 vehicles – a pre-1980 Jeep Grand Wagoneer or Cherokee (4 or 2 doors) for the truck things, and a 1987-1990 or so Buick LeSabre, Pontiac Bonneville, or Olds 88 for a car.
You should be able to get both quite inexpensively. The Jeep will last you forever, and the 3.8GM engined cars will get you great fuel economy (30 mpg highway) for daily use.
Both of the above have billions of parts available at salvage yards everywhere, so they will be cheap to maintain.
